Kleptz YMCA (KZY) Pisces

The KZY Pisces Swim Team is a competitive youth swim team located at the Kleptz YMCA in Englewood, Ohio. Our swimmers range in age from 5 to 18 years and compete in the Southwest Ohio YMCA Swim League. The Pisces compete in the Short Course (Winter) season which runs from October through April.

Our History

The Pisces Swim Team has been in existence for more then 30 years. This association with the YMCA programs has allowed thousands of young people to enjoy the benefits of competitive swimming.

The Pisces Swim Team was started at the Northwest YMCA which was located in Trotwood, more then 30 years ago. The program was relocated to the pool at Maria Joseph Living Center. While at Maria Joseph, the program was under the direction of head coach Matt Liddy. Matt produced several nationally ranked swimmers during his 16 year tenure as the Pisces head coach.

The Pisces Swim Team became the Kleptz YMCA “Pisces” when the Englewood YMCA was opened in 2002. The team participates in the YMCA Southwest Ohio cluster. The Southwest Cluster consists of teams from Auglaize and Mercer counties. Piqua, Lebanon, Springfield, Beavercreek, Middletown and several Cincinnati Y’s.
